aldebaran-log
What a site writes to its log, and the rule that it never writes a visitor. A line is built from closed types only: a route the site declares (never the path asked for), one of four method words, the status and the time taken. There is nothing to hand it an address, a header, a query or a body.
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
Route | A trait the site's route enum implements: name, and optionally a level for a status and a note. |
Served<R> | One request served; level() and Display (GET page -> 200 in 3 ms). |
Level | Debug, Info, Warn, Error: a 5xx is always Error, a 4xx is Warn unless the route says otherwise. |
Method::parse | Four words; anything else is OTHER. |
No runtime: an adapter writes it to the Worker console or a logger.
